ATHENS CITYSCAPE MUSEUM

2015

Athens, Greece

The new cityscape museum is a collective information center placed in a specific point (Next to Panathenaic Stadium) to represent the vicinity urban context and the urban artifacts. The museum will correspond to the axis of views from the architectural site. The network of these artifacts will  adopt the method of the Athens Lens Pavilion from the previous project to mould exhibition and program space by its core values with length, depth, height, distance, form and the inner volume.

The museum will have a open plan to mix programs, allowing the artifacts, urban context, research, and humans to interact without boundaries. Through this process, the viewers could understand the subject matter with more personal relationship towards the artifacts and the city.
